This is the single greatest chrome extension for anyone with ADHD. This makes procrastination near impossible and is a life saver when it comes to school work. I cannot praise how simple and effective this is nearly enough.

This extension is amazing! It hide Shorts, comments, suggested videos, and even the sidebar. Now I can focus only on the content I actually care about, with no distractions. The interface is simple and the settings are flexible. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a cleaner, calmer YouTube experience. Thank you to the developer ?

this is just too gud it helped me study and remove distractions from youtube and i can totally focus on my studies now and i dont get distracted from other videos while watching lectures on youtube an the best part is it even has dark mode no complains pure 5 star extension thanks u so much hell yeah now i'm goin back to study came here just to write the review my last distraction was to write the review itself lmao xd thanks again!

Unhook is incredibly effective at removing YouTube distractions, significantly improving focus. The core functionality is brilliant and much appreciated. However, I'm giving it 1 star due to a critical issue: it is closed-source. This lack of transparency is a major concern. We, the users, cannot verify the code we are running in our browsers. This presents potential security and privacy risks, as there's no way to audit the extension for hidden tracking or malicious behaviour. Trust requires transparency. I genuinely love what this extension does, and I would instantly change my rating to 5 stars if the developers embraced free and open-source principles. I strongly urge other users to request this change as well. Open source is vital for user security and trust in browser extensions. Developers, please consider making Unhook open-source. The concept is fantastic, but its closed nature prevents a wholehearted recommendation.
